Battle for CMS supremacy

Content management software (CMS) is a gigantic business. TechNavio’s analysts forecast that the global Enterprise Content Management (ECM) will reach $9.6 Billion in 2014.

One of the key factors contributing to this market growth is increased adoption of ECM in Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs). The Enterprise Content Management market has also been witnessing need of collaboration between different business processes. Key vendors that continue to dominate this market include IBM Corp, Oracle Corp, EMC Corp, Microsoft Corp. and Open Text.

Of course, web content management (WCM) is just as big a market, probably bigger (although in August of 2010 Gartner pegged sales of WCM solutions at a mere $1 Billion for 2010). Whether it’s $1 Billion or 10, the market is massive, and it’s swarming with vendors that want their slice of the pie. This market space is far more fractured than it’s sister ECM market, and the key vendors are less clear, as no one dominates like the five that dominate the ECM market. This fractured market makes it very difficult for organizations looking at purchasing or upgrading their existing website or intranet WCM solution; the best solution is not clear.

Kentico vs Telerik

Two of the fastest growing, and least expensive WCM solutions, are Kentico CMS and Telerik SiteFinity. Both products having recently launched new version updates and boosting out-of-box features such as web analytics, site globalization, e-commerce modules, robust and flexible interfaces, and social media tools. Both products are considered very strong, bang-for-the-buck WCM solutions.

Arguably, two of the most affordable and feature rich mid-level .NET CMS products on the market today, Kentico and Sitefinity will go head-to-head in our version of “CMS Fight Club” on a special, interactive 60-minute webinar, CMS Connected.  CMS Connected will help you get beyond the glossy brochures and marketing web pages, asking the real tough questions you want to know.

Join us for this lively and interactive Q&A session as Kentico and Sitefinity square-off in the first of a new webinar series brought to you by Prescient Digital Media and Falcon Software.
